I've hunted coyotes since the mid 70's, back then you didn't need a lot of equip. to be successful. Now days a lot of pressure has been put on the coyote and they are very educated. You need to be diverse in order to bag Wiley E Coyote today, which brings up the Mojo Critter. The first day I tried it I shot a nice male coyote, it held the coyote's attention and gave me the time needed to place a clean kill shot. The intermitent movement is the key. I think this is one of the best decoys I've ever used.

The Mojo Critter broke the first time out. I set the unit up, turned it on, and the gears started clicking but the top piece did not move. I could spin it by hand, but it would not turn on it's own. I tried another set of batteries, but it still didn't work. It was cold that day (10 deg. F), so I don't know if this had anything to do with it, but I will definately be sending it back.

I just got the critter and havent actually used it int he field, but I can tell you I fully expect it to be a killer. I really like its action and can see how it would be irresistible to a hungry coyote and just lure him right into a full metal jacket that is awaiting his presence.
